Community Sponsorship - Document Hub
Below is a list official Community Sponsorship Ireland documents, including application forms. If you are wondering how to make an application, please see our Getting Started section for more information.
A good place to start for basic information about the programme, this provides an overview of Community Sponsorship for those considering getting involved or who would like to learn more. Provides contextual information on the programme, the steps involved and the roles and responsibilities of both the group and the Regional Support Organisation.
This is the first form you will need to fill out as a community sponsorship group. The purpose of the form is to register your interest as a group, once you have come together. The form also outlines the members of your group, how you came together and how you intend to fundraise. This form must be sent to your RSO, who will review it and send it on to the IRPP for approval. Once approved, you have the go-ahead to proceed as a group, including fundraising, training and so on.
This is the second of two application forms you will have to submit as a community sponsorship group. It outlines how you plan to support and welcome a family to your community. Groups submit their Settlement Plan quite after they have completed their fundraising and other necessary preparations. This form contains the information upon which your group will be assessed for approval and matched with a family. Groups are asked to submit this form together with their safeguarding documents. As above, the completed form is to be submitted to your RSO for review and will be assessed by the IRPP.
This is a guide for groups who are preparing their Settlement Plan before submission. It provides suggestions for how to complete each section and helps to ensure that you are covering all points.
