Giulia Dedej

Giulia holds an LLM in International Migration and Refugee Law and Policy from the University of Galway and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation from the University of Bologna. She first started her work with Nasc through community sponsorship. She volunteered as the Chairperson of the first Community Sponsorship Group to sponsor refugee students under the EU-Passworld project, spearheaded by Nasc in Ireland. The group welcomed two refugee students displaced to Nigeria last year and inspired many more Irish Universities to join the project. She is passionate about languages and particularly interested in border justice and the enforcement of human rights obligations in extraterritorial contexts.
