Yasmin Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from University College Cork, after undertaking a medical social work placement abroad in Groote Schuur Hospital, Capetown and completing a thesis with a focus on gender-based violence. Yasmin has engaged with additional studies in sustainable development and the consent-focused Bystander Intervention Program around ending sexual violence and harassment, whilst in attendance at UCC. She has a background in child protection social work, domestic abuse therapeutic support services and the complementary wellness therapies field.
Yasmin came to Nasc in early 2025 as a Family Reunification Support Worker on the New Beginnings Project to work with children and families exiting direct provision and with newly reunited refugee families. She has a special interest in the protection of rights of women and children.
