Aoibhe is Nasc’s Education Pathways Officer. She holds a BSc in Government and Political Science from University College Cork and an MA in Gender, Globalisation and Rights from the University of Galway. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved with UCC’s Fáilte Refugees Society, which helped shape her long standing commitment to social justice and human rights. This interest continued into her postgraduate work, where she examined how Irish media frames female and male refugees differently.
Before joining Nasc, she served as Welfare Officer in the UCC Students’ Union. Originally from West Cork, she is fluent in Irish and plays rugby. In her role at Nasc, she supports refugees in accessing safe education pathways in Ireland.
