Casework Support
In addition to our immigration helpline, Nasc provides appointment-based casework support for more complex queries requiring in-depth review, detailed documentation support, or ongoing advocacy. In these circumstances, individuals may be offered a casework appointment following assessment by our team.
Each referral is assessed individually. Due to high demand, appointments are prioritised based on urgency, vulnerability, and capacity.
How the Appointment System Works
- Initial contact is made through the Immigration Helpline or referral from a social worker or other support organisation.
- Our team assesses whether the matter requires in-depth casework support.
- If eligible, an appointment is scheduled with a caseworker.
- Appointments are by arrangement only. We do not operate a walk-in service.
Important Information
Our casework service provides immigration information and advocacy. We do not provide legal advice. Where a matter falls outside our remit, we will provide signposting if possible.
Access to Office
PLEASE NOTE: Our office is located on the first floor and we do not have an elevator/lift.
If you would like to attend our walk-in service but you have mobility issues which mean you are unable to use stairs, please contact our team on 021 427 35 94 and we will do our best to make alternative arrangements for you.
