Fiona Hurley holds a Bachelor of Law degree (BCL) and a Masters in Laws (LLM) from University College Cork. Fiona also has a diploma in Leadership and Management. She has a particular interest in social justice and the protection of human rights and joined the Nasc team in 2010. Fiona worked for nine years in Nasc’s Advocacy Service initially as a Advocacy Officer and later as the Advocacy Service Manager. In 2019 Fiona became Nasc’s Policy and Communication Manager. She has extensive experience in immigration and protection law as well as providing capacity building and training to organisations on immigration law and its intersection with housing, social welfare, education and health entitlements.
